Happily married since 1973, with 2 grown-up children, and fluent in English and Afrikaans. Enjoys woodworking and reading in his spare time and loves sailing (built his own dinghy), been a licensed "Ham" Radio Operator, done parachute jumping, been on a Regional Board for Youth for Christ, been a Founder member of a Toastmasters International Club, and has founded a Networking Club to assist the unemployed. Works Mainly By Referral (i.e. he spends practically 100% of his time and energies servicing his clients, not expending his time and energy trying to obtain business from the general public-over 90% of Ron's business comes from referrals from grateful clients). Since 1995 has been involved in Residential, Condominium and Commercial sales in Calgary. Has, through Realtors, bought and sold 10 of of his own homes over 2 continents (he is well aware of the difficulties and concerns facing today's Buyers and Sellers) Approach is that of a Consultant, showing his clients all choices so that they are best prepared to make an informed decision on their important sale and or purchase. Analytic by nature, Ron's openness as to how the estimated prices are arrived at gives his clients peace of mind even before they market their property or start searching for a home. His Motto is "Getting Precisely what you Want and Enjoying the Experience". Is a Registered Real Estate Agent, a Registered Realtor and a member of CREB, AREA, CREA and is also a member of Calgary Commercial Real Estate Board. Apart from the ongiong CREB (Calgary REal Estate Board) and RECA (Real Estste Council of Alberta) courses, Ron has completed 2 years as a Coaching Club member with the Real Estate University of California (J.Stumpf) and is a graduate of the well-known F. Wickman Real Estate "Sweathogs" course. |
